Hi guys I have Pie register Version Pie Register (Base) 3.0.14 installed on several sites and I am having the same problem on each of them.
When I go to the blog page of either of the sites and find the meta widget area which looks similar to this
    meta
    Register
    Log in
    Entries RSS
    Comments RSS
    ww.wp.xz.cn

and run my mouse over the Log in link I get a link like the one below
    https://binaryone.com.au/login/?redirect_to=https://binaryone.com.au/update-services-ping-lists/

If I click the link I get

    Forbidden
You don’t have permission to access /sitename-login/ on this server.
    Apache/2.4.7 (Ubuntu) Server at sitename.com.au Port 443

If I deactivate Pie Register on either site the Log in link starts to work again as expected. If I deactivate all other plugins on the site the link above remains. Any suggestion what could be the problem?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi,

PR customized login link so it can redirect to it’s PR login page. It happens when default WP login is disabled. If you want to remove that link go to WP admin dashboard. Navigate to PR menu > Settings > Overrides. Unchecked option “Do not allow users to login from the WordPress login page.”

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks,

Hi Guys thanks for your reply. I am still having a bit of a problem with this because when I test turning on and off the “Do not allow users to login from the WordPress login page. Note: You must select an alternate login page.” checkbox it does not work like the description describes.

If I un-select the “Do not allow users to login from the WordPress login page. Note: You must select an alternate login page.” checkbox when the log in link on the page is clicked the user is taken to WP login and not the PR Login page. Which is what I would expext.

However when the “Do not allow users to login from the WordPress login page. Note: You must select an alternate login page.” checkbox IS selected the user is presented with a broken link (that is trying to go the the first blog post, but does not work) instead of going to the page selected on the PR menu > Settings > Pages page.

I think if “Do not allow users to login from the WordPress login page. Note: You must select an alternate login page.” checkbox IS selected then the user should be directed to the alternate login page created and selected in PR when the log in link is clicked. Please correct me if I am wrong?

    Hi,

In meta Login link, redirect link is also set which is creating problem on your site(s) for some reason. We will remove redirect_to query string from meta login link in our next release.

    Thanks,
