    Hello,
I’m currently using the free version of SSA and considering upgrading to the Pro version.
My client offers multiple appointment types (e.g. Nuadtoa – 65 minutes + 20 min buffer, Holistic Pulsing – 70 minutes + 20 min buffer).
We want to allow clients to book only when the full time slot is available and prevent overlapping start times.

For example: if a client books Nuadtoa at 09:00, the next available time should automatically be 10:25 or later (not 09:30 or 10:00).

Does SSA dynamically block start times based on each appointment type’s duration and buffer time, even if we use a general availability window like 09:00–14:00?

    Thank you!

    Hello @tefware,

Thanks for reaching out in the forums. As a side note, we also received your email and sent you this response earlier today:

The ability to block start times based on the appointment duration and buffer time is possible in both the Free and Paid editions of Simply Schedule Appointments 🙂

To ensure this works as expected, you’ll need to disable the Independent Availability setting. When this setting is turned off, it ensures that the different Appointment Types talk to each other so that there are no overlapping start times, durations, or buffers.

Could you make sure that setting is turned off and try booking appointments between your Nuadtoa and Holistic Pulsing calendars?

Let us know if that helps.
