SSH Key for Plugins that Require host, user, and password

    I have just installed my wordpress app on AWS, and as such, the only way to get into the server is with SSH, using a key and a login. There is no password, but I am trying to load a few plugins that require access to my host. How can I get around this, is there a way to enable straight FTP on AWS? Or can I somehow tell the plugin to grab the key?
