SSL breaks Language selection

Hi, I just set up SSL on the site making it https and now the language selector no longer selects the second language. Here is url
default is in German and second language is english.
It switches from English to German but not back again.
I think this is an old issue but I can’t find a fix anywhere.
Any ideas?
