SSL Security Issue: Mixed Content Warning

    The following URL is referenced on the plugin settings page:

    http://www.arnebrachhold.de/redir/sitemap-donorlist/

    As an “http” (non-SSL/TLS) URL, this results in a “mixed content” warning, aka “this page is trying to load scripts from unauthenticated sources” in Chrome and other browsers on sites that use SSL/HTTPS.

    Please improve the security of this plugin by resolving this issue, thank you.

    You could just edit the plugin page if that’s the problem.

    google-sitemap-generator/sitemap.php

    I’d like to change the sitemap URL altogether, looking for a solution to that.

    Edit the plugin core file? No thanks, that is a bad idea that goes against WordPress guidelines and best practices. In general you should never modify core files.
