  • Hello @ninegolfy,

Please give more details… because “the page will always show nothing” is not helping us too much.

    Thanks.

    oh! sorry for that.

    show nothing, I mean…

on my understanding, once I do activate your plugin then even I user the post/page or a static page as my frontpage. then the maintenance page should show instead right ?

but once I did change the page from http:// to https:// (using just really simple ssl plugin or just change general setting url to https://mysite.com

the maintanance page still never show … just showing the normal front page!

so I do not sure that your plugin will support for a website with https or not ? or need to overriding http in your plugin file somewhere ?

    Cheers,

    Hello @ninegolfy,

Thank you! Now I understand what you’re saying, but as far as I know there is no problem with SSL. I’ll have to do some tests.

    Thanks.

    Thanks @george

It is just a vanila wordpress version 4.6 then it did work with only your plugin.
But with just general setting from http to https or using really simple ssl then your maintenance page was just disappeared to see only https page with normal static fronpage.
    :-\

    🙂 anyways thanks for consider

    Hello @ninegolfy,

I’ve done some tests using the same steps you described (also with WP 4.6 + WP Maintenance Mode) and the plugin is working fine.

    Example: demo with ssl enabled

    Best regards,
    George
