Staff assignment for any selection

    A Client wants to create an online Booking system and I want to use bookly and bookly Pro for this. The client has 10 hair stylists who should given appointments in a complete rotation from staff no 1 to number 10 equally when a client choose any as the staff selection option .

    How do I achieve this ?

    Your staff order given in the service gives the first staff member any appointment that comes when ever he is free regardless how many he is assigned.
    What my Clint wants is first “any” appointment to first staff member second “any” appointment to second staff member , third “any” appointment to 3rd member and so on and so forth

    But my client wants the turn to be given to everyone in fair and equal manner when no specific staff is selected by the client.

    The option least occupied for a duration how does it select staff ?
    Is there an oder to that?

    Hello,

    Thank you for your message.

    The system will check the number of appointments of all staff members for a specific date. And the staff member that has the least number of appointments will be taken if “Any” option is chosen.

    Let’s say I have 10 staff members and their staff ID are 1 to 10

    And 5 of them have at least one booking over the period.

    let’s say the balance 5 staff members have zero appointments. How does it assign the booking and to which member from the ones with zero appointments.

    Hello,

    Thank you for your reply.

    It depends on “Pick random staff member in case of uncertainty” option. If it is enabled, the system will choose staff member randomly. If it is disabled, the system will choose staff member according to ID number (in your case, it will be a staff member with ID number 1).

    Thank you very much. I think I can manage this with this function. Last question To be clear

    I have staff members with ID 1 to ID 10

    And have random off. Then
    Case 01
    Staff with ID No 1,3,6,8 and 9 have appointments

    So the next “any” selected appointment will go to Staff ID 2 and Then next ones to 4,5,7 and 10 is it?

    Case 2
    If Staff ID No 1,2,3,4,6 have appointments it will start next with ID No 5 and goes to 7,8,9,10

    Refer to above.
    I have tried as described above with 3 staff members with staff id 1, 2, 3
    The system always select same staff member whatever the staff I’d is assigned to him.
    In my case a staff member named Bryan is selected for any option all the time when he has id set to 1, 2 or even 3

    So it seems the system doesn’t do it based on staff id.

    Can you let me know where the system gets the order for this function really.
