Staff Picks page for specific posts

I have a staff picks page I want to create on my website http://getapptive.com

I would like to display certain posts on that staff picks page, but I don’t want to do so by assigning a staff picks category to those specific posts. I don’t want the post to show anywhere that is marked as a staff pick.

Is there another easy way to do this?
