Version 4.5 was not saved correctly to the WordPress repository. As a consequence the update has not worked correctly, and a sizeable download has been dropped into your plugins folder.
To fix this proceed as follows:
Make a backup of your site
If stageshow is shown on the WP “Installed Plugins” Page deactivate (but do NOT delete) it.
Using your ISPs file manager (preferred) or FTP delete the stageshow plugins folder in the wp-content/plugins folder. Note that using the ISPs file manager will be considerably faster than using FTP.
On the WP “Installed Plugins” Page click Add and search for stageshow.
Install and activate stageshow version 4.5.1
Note that any stageshow settings you had on your site will be preserved.
