A couple of times today I have accidentally closed the browser session logged into WP Admin whilst running a Staging update. Unfortunately when I log-in again and open WP Staging there is no way to see if the job is still running, has already completed or what percentage has been completed.

Is there a way to view what is running when I make silly mistakes like closing the browser? the only way I have found to see if the job is still running is to try and do another update, if it is still running then it tells me it is – unfortunately if the job has completed then it simply starts another update of the existing staging site.

It would be extremely useful if there was a way to see that the job is still active.

    Hi @wimorrison ,

    Thanks for reaching out!
If you accidentally close the browser during a staging update, WP Staging continues running the process in the background. You can check if the job is still active by starting a new staging process—if it says another process is running, that confirms it’s still active.

We appreciate your feedback! A dedicated progress tracker would be a great addition, and I have shared this with our team.

Let us know if you need further help!

    Cheers!
    Fayyaz
