Staging/Development Site Copy Conflicts?

    I am redesigning a site for a client who runs the PowerPress plugin. Part of the process is cloning the site to a development server where the work will take place.

    Is there any potential conflict or disruption of my client’s RSS feed (or podcast distribution) from the existence of a second website using the exact same PowerPress settings?

    Are there any steps I need to take to avoid issues, or when overwriting the live site from the new one designed on the staging copy?

    Having a second version of the podcast RSS feed on the staging site shouldn’t be a problem. Main thing to consider when going from the staging site back to the live site is that all of the PowerPress settings are in place and that all of the existing live posts that contain podcast episodes are carried over.
