The staging process failed during database export, mostly due to its huge size + server limitations.
In the first place, I’d recommend you perform a full cleanup and optimize all your tables.
You can do that easily with the help of a free and simple plugin.

– Cleanup won’t remove anything that is in use, so, no worries.
Then, follow these steps carefully:
1. Download and install the “Advanced DB Cleanup” plugin
2. Do a full Cleanup and optimize all tables using the Advanced DB Cleanup plugin
3. After that you can already remove the mentioned cleanup plugin if you wish
4. Go to Backup & Migration plugin settings
5. Open the “Other options” section

10. Save the “Other options” section

Right after the last step, you can run the backup process once again.

Unfortunately none of these steps worked. Additionally to clarify, I am making a staging site.

The steps that I explained are for a better approach to make a backup of your site that you would use to create a staging site.
If the backup creation still failed after all steps, please generate a new debug code and share it:
Please navigate to the plugin section Troubleshooting > Check advanced options and click on the button:
Share debug info with BackupBliss team

It duplicated but I can not access the site. I get redirected to a page that says “<span style=”color: rgb(227, 227, 227); font-family: monospace; font-size: 11px; background-color: rgb(40, 40, 40);”>Greetings Network Administrator! The network currently allows user registrations. To change or disable registration go to your</span> and it also says the site you are looking for does not exist.

Thank you for your patience. After additional investigation, team decided to overhaul the process for the local multisite staging sites. It will take some time to develop this, however we will offer an immediate bypass for the problem:
You can create a staging site on TasteWP. As your site requires additional space, we will provide it for your staging site. Here is how we can do it:
1. Create an account (it’s free!) on TasteWP and create a free multisite test site;
2. Tell us the name of your test site in your reply, so we can increase the space limit (+ make it last longer than usual);
3. Restore the backup of your production site on the given TasteWP test site and use it as your staging site.
