We have had to disable this plugin (Version 1.4.8). In recent days it has been stalling apache resources and adding additional load to our clients server. As soon as we disabled the plugin everything resolved itself.

    Is anyone else experiencing similar?

    Hi @gazmcj,

We haven’t had any other reports of this issue and it seems strange that the plugin would cause server load as it has very little server-side code – it mostly runs using JavaScript after the rest of the page has loaded. Would it be possible to send us your “System Info” from the plugin (WordPress Dashboard > Instagram Feed > Support) so that we can see what settings you had applied and can do some testing on our end? You can send them confidentially using the support form on our website if you’d prefer not to post the information here. Please include a link to this thread so we know what it’s in reference to.

    Many thanks,

    John

    My apologies @smashballoon

It appears an overzealous web host was trying to pin point the issue on the plugin. With further investigation the issue was found to be elsewhere (network related).

    Thanks for replying so quickly.

No problem @gazmcj, glad you were able to find the source of the problem.

If you have any problems with our plugin in future then just let us know.

    John
