There’s now an option in the general settings to add an css selector in order to do this.
Simply add a selector to your button or link like this:
<a href="#">My Link</a>
And then in the options under “open chat window” add “openchat” without quotes.

Hi @tts90,
Thank you for getting in touch, we do appreciate your time.
Could I ask if @rojokuze’s suggestion has helped you get this setup?

Hi
Yes I just got it to work (with some small modifications).
For people who have the same question:
– Go to Live Chat – general settings
– At “Open chat window via:” choose “Click” and “Class”.
– Fill in any classname, e.g. “openchat”
– Give your button the “openchat” class name. With pagebuilder plugins it’s often at the “extra” or “advanced” tab.
– Set “#0” as link to stay on the same page, without refreshing or going to the top of the page.
Thanks!
