During checkout logged in users are not getting their STATE field pre-populated from their profile. When the plugin is disabled, it works fine. I have contacted woocommerce and they also suggested this plugin was the issue.

With plugin enabled and user logged in: (no state loads)

    no state

With plugin DISABLED and user logged in: (state loads correctly)

    with state

Why do I care so much? Everyday customers complain about the state field not working for them since we updated this app. Some say it doesnt load at all for them. These were the only screenshots I was able to capture but I think it leads to a bigger issue with the state field. Also it is a bummer that with State set to mandatory, it makes international orders impossible for countries where woocommerce hides it. This field seems to have a lot of issues for some reason. Hope you can help, this is obviously the most important page of the website!

To update, I have finally figured out that logged in users cannot select state. It’s worse than expected.

I fixed this by changing the input to “WIDE”.

It still doesn’t load correctly from the user’s profile but at least the dropdown is not disabled anymore.

Hi @sundaydriverwp, thanks for raising this. I’ll be looking at this as soon as I work through my ticket queue. There is alot of background logic around the State field that I to this day do not understand. I’ll see how the “wide” CSS class affects that field.

Can you clarify whether this is the Billing: State or Shipping: State field or Additional: State field?

    Hi Michael,

Thank you for your attention in this urgent matter.

This is on the billing address for https://www.kindjuice.com. It seems to be replicable by using the iphone setting in chrome debug tool. Once I set it to wide, it works on mobile.

It still doesn’t load the correct state from the profile.

This is an issue because state doesnt get filled in on orders, and then when we set it to mandatory, we lose international orders because they cannot fill it in.

FYI – The Country drop down input loads the correct information and seems to work in all settings/browsers.
