Hi there,
While the explanation you provided gives us a general idea of the issue you’re experiencing, it’s still somewhat vague. I agree that the best way to confirm that we’re on the same page is to have you send a screencast (screen recording) of exactly what’s happening along with your Autocomplete. That way, we can see exactly what you’re experiencing and ensure our understanding aligns with the actual issue.
Hi, thank you for your response. Here’s the issue that’s happening with the autocomplete: https://youtu.be/iRofh08Gzl0
- I fill in the address
- All fields except State are autocompleted
- When I reload the page, the State field gets filled in
You can check it on feeleat.com.ar
Hi again,
Thank you so much for providing us that video, which perfectly explains the issue that you’re experiencing. Upon navigating through your checkout page, I can confirm that I have gone through the issue myself.
However, we’ve noticed that you do not have the default WooCommerce fields on your checkout page, and when performing those same steps in an environment that does have the default fields, the issue doesn’t seem to occur.
We would like you to disable all plugins except WooCommerce and Kikote to identify any conflicts with the plugins you have installed on your website possibly tampering with the AutoComplete feature.
Let us know if the issue still persists so we can assist you further.
Hi, I’ve tried deactivating all plugins as well as any custom code directly or indirectly related to WooCommerce and the checkout. I also changed the way the page is loaded with Elementor, but I’m still getting the error. My cache is also disabled.
I’m not sure what else I could check.
Hi @agusgonzalezs I took a look at the video and it seems that the field is not visually updated on your website until you refresh the page.
This is not common behaviour in the plugin and hasn’t been reported by other users or in our testing. This leads us to believe that the issue is limited to your website.
From the video I can see that your checkout page is not the typical WooCommerce one. We need you to really deactivate all plugins on your website except Kikote and WooCommerce and even temporarily switching to a default WordPress theme like Twenty Twenty and then try again and let us know how it goes.
We understand that this might not be ideal but its just a necessary step we need to do to rule out any conflicts. You can install a plugin like this one to put your website behind an Under Maintenance Page: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/under-construction-page/
Since this is a new plugin it’s unlikely to introduce any new conflicts. So in the end you should only have the following plugins activated:
– Kikote
– WooCommerce
– Under Construction plugin (so users can browse the site while you’re testing)
You should also switch to Twenty Twenty default WordPress theme. Install it if it’s not currently installed on your website.
Once that’s done, please test again and if the issue still occurs then send us a new screencast showing that it still occurs with only those plugins and that theme activated.
Hi there,
We haven’t heard from you in a while so we’ll close this thread. Feel free to open a new one if you’re still experiencing any issues.
Hi, today I was able to run the test following the instructions I was given, but I’m still getting the same result. I’m sharing a video here as proof of that.

Hi there,
Thank you so much for providing a video of the issue once again. We did attempt to reproduce the issue on our end using the same theme and plugin versions but weren’t able to replicate it. To help us narrow down the root cause, we recommend setting up a temporary test site using jurassic.ninja.
It’s a free service that quickly produces a clean WordPress environment, which is perfect for determining whether the issue is directly from your website or not. Once you’ve tested it there, please let us know the outcome.
Hi there,
We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so we’ll go ahead and close this thread for now.
If you’re still experiencing issues or have any new questions, feel free to open a new thread, and we’ll be happy to assist you.
