    Hi Guys,

I know this has probably been answered before somewhere but I just cant find it!

I want to have my front page as a static page, with no posts, but other (non-wp) content on it – almost like a splash page, but still with the header and footer. When the user clicks the nav links at the top then my ‘blog posts’ will be seen.

I have set up the corresponding pages (about, blog etc.), but cant figure out how to have it static with no posts but custom code

I edited the index.php file thinking it was that, but after setting my blog posts to be shown on ‘blog’ page, it is exactly the same as my index.php page 😕

    I hope that makes sense

I’m new to wordpress, so please explain everything VERY SIMPLY

    Cheers

    Mark
