How can I setup a static frontpage like in Theme demo here: http://smallblog.monkey-themes.com. I am not finding any way to create a static full width page with image slider as in the demo. Please advice on how to proceed.

Hello Loither,
for the moment the home-page is not customizable in the free version. But in the future version will be available the image-slider and more.
