Static Homepage Concerns

Hi there,

I currently use static home pages for my sites and have noticed that in word press stats it reports visits to the homepage reported using the title of the page but I also notice some visits to the homepage that are reported under the title “Home Page”. My concern here is if this in some way causing a duplication issue?

Also if I make a page titled XYZ and I set it to be my static homepage is the XYZ page still crawl-able / able to be indexed?
