I cannot get rid of the Static sitemap files detected notification.

There are no static sitemap files in the root of my WordPress installation.

I click Delete Static Files and get confirmation they have gone but the notification reappears.

sitemap.xml will not load but the html one is fine

I’ve deleted other sitemap plugin that was installed but it has made no difference.

@ffenton Your sitemap loads fine for me – https://gites-in-france.co.uk/sitemap.xml. If that doesn’t work for you, you might want to try clearing your server and browser cache to see if that helps.

Hi ,

I am using All in one Seo. i have just noticed the notification “Static sitemap files detected” and there is a delete button as well please let me know if i delete it does my site got any negative impact what should be my next step for this notification? your help really appreciated
