    I haven’t tried this plugin out yet, but does anyone know if this plugin would work on static WordPress sites? Like ones hosted on hardypress or Getshifter?

    There is a market for remotely hosted carts on static sites. Ecwid, Snipcart and Shopify all run carts for static sites, hopefully this plugin goes the same way ✌️
