TechGnome, I found this thread because I didn’t think the Show One Category post was the right place to really discuss your plugin. I already have a static page to my site and don’t necessarily want another static page on the weblog. I just wanted to have 5 posts on the front page excluding (if applicable) a post from category 17 (if that post happens to be in one of the 5 most recent posts). My problem with the other “solution” is that now I have 270-something posts on my front page, minus the one post from category 17. Two hundred seventy-something posts take a long time to load up and make my page rediculously long.
Will StaticEez help me acheive my goal of having the 5 most recent posts minus the post from category 17 on the front page?
