I have a custom post type registered as ‘event’ via a plug in. The registered custom post type also has the default taxonomy ‘category’ registered correctly – i.e. the custom posts of type ‘event’ are displayed correctly under their assigned ‘normal’ category.

However, in the stats page, the ‘views’ of said pages return:

    ‘post ID (loading title)’

I would really like to fix this issue so that the stats correctly display the post title of custom post type.
    is this possible?

    Thanks

Could you post your site URL here, so I can have a look?

It would also help if you could post a link to one of your single post type pages.

The custom post type was being registered by a plug in with an option to display the custom posts via its own templates. I created per WordPress instructions a single-{post-type}.php file in my theme and cofigured the plug in accordingly, and everything started working.

    Thanks!
