Recently, after the plugin was updated, the “Automatic Cleanup” option was enabled by default, and the “Purge Data Older Than” was set for 180 days. As a result, the total daily visits were reduced by about 200. At the same time, as long as the page was refreshed, [wpstatistics stat=pagevisits time=total] The number of page views of short code statistics and articles increased by about 200 for no reason. This is true on every page. This is true even without any visits. Uncheck the “Automatic Cleanup” box and things will resume. However, as soon as a new page, a new article, and no visits have been posted, the statistics of [wpstatistics stat=pagevisits time=today] are zero, and the statistics of [wpstatistics stat=pagevisits time=total] are 700+. There were no such issues before the update.

  • Hi @dotkuang,

Thank you for opening the thread, and apologies for the delayed response!

After conducting multiple tests, the shortcodes appear to be functioning properly, with and without “Automatic Cleanup”.

Could you please edit the pages and include both of the following shortcodes?

    [wpstatistics stat=pagevisits time=total]
    [wpstatistics stat=pagevisits time=today]

Additionally, please install the Query Monitor and visit some of the pages and check the queries. Kindly check this image as a reference: https://i.vgy.me/RbACKh.png.

Looking forward to hearing back from you.

    Thank you!

Later, I deleted the statistical database and it worked normally after reinstalling the plugin. However, the causes of the problems that occurred in the past remain unclear. Because I haven’t seen a reply for a long time, I didn’t follow it. I only came across it by chance recently. Thank you very much.</font>
