Try increasing your “Check for online users every” setting.
Users aren’t really “online” a website so this is a hard statistic to track.
Thanks Greg,
I check every 60 seconds and the problem remain (it has been working very well until now).
Have you changed your exclusions? If a user is excluded they will not show up as online.
In setting/exclusions the only one check it is in site URL the admin pages
Have you enabled the browscap code recently?
I didn’t touch the code. In the browscap setting the only box checking is the ‘update brows cap info.
Are you seeing your visit/visitors total increase?
I see the visit increase (today visit 3385), but the visitor shown zero
Sounds like something is going wrong in the hit detection code, can you check your PHP error log?
Can you be more specific, please? I’m not a developer
You hosting provider will be able to help you find where your PHP log file is. Once you have found it, take a look for any errors associated with the plugin (referencing a file inside the plugin directory).
I talked with my provider and the think the solution could be here: How to fix WordPress.com Stats plugin showing zero (0) visitors!
That’s not related, as you see the visits increasing, it means our code is running.
Ask your hosting provider how to access to pho log file.
My hosting provider said that they checked the statistics and “that correct values are shown”. Do I insist to access to php log file?
