    Hi,
I’m very satisfied with Thirsty Affiliate itself : this is by far the best affiliation link manager plugin : great job !

However I must say I’m a little bit disappointed by Statistics add-on functionnalities which are very limited considering the price.

Therefore it’s quite difficult to use these stats efficiently.
In order to do that, I have a few few questions for you :

    1) Is it possible to remove IP adresses/ranges from the results ? => I’d like to get rid of Google bots IP, in order to get “REAL” stats

    2) I’d like to export the results in a CSV file. How can I do that ?

    3) It would be nice to have the username right next to the IP adress (if user is logged in of course). Is it possible ?

    Thanks in advance.
    JM

  • Hey JM,

Thanks for the message and the feedback.

First up, don’t forget you have premium support so you can shoot us an email direct via the support page on our site, usually gets a quicker response!

Ok, let me try to address your questions:

    1. These should be filtered already, we filter bots (Google’s and others) based on an agents watch list, this should be part of the functionality of the plugin already and has been for a while. If you’ve found other user agents or IPs let me know and we’ll add them!

    2. Great idea. This is something we’ve been toying with for a while. We’ll try and get this into the next version.

    3. Also a good idea, I’ll investigate this and see what we can do.

I’m 100% open to feature ideas especially when they improve the experience in a way that will help others too, keep them coming 🙂

    Cheers,
    Josh

    Hi JM,

Released features today for the Stats add-on which address 2 and 3 of your post. Hope that helps!

Updates should roll into your dashboard if you have entered a valid license key and email.

    Cheers,
    Josh

    Hey Josh,

    I must say I am impressed !
Thanks for the export functionnality. It will help a LOT.

About the bots : in my stats, I still have :
    > 66.249.*.* which is identified as googlebot (according to http://chceme.info/ips/)
    > 157.55.*.* which is identified as MSN bot

BTW is it possible, in a future relesse, to add a checkbox to filter my own IP adress ? 🙂

    About 3 :
Thanks again for the feature ! But…
displayed username is always tha same for all IP adresses.
    Including googlebot 😉
Wait, does this mean, I’m the new official owner of googlebot ?
I’ve got the allmighty poweeeer !!
I’m THE NEW KING OF THE WORLD !
    Oh sorry about that…
I was just saying, even when visitor are logged-in, add-on displays my username right next to all IPs.

    Anyway, thanks for the faster-than-light-support.
    JM

    Hi JM,

Looks like there was a slight mistake in the coding for reporting the username, I’m releasing a bug fix now to correct the issue. It should come through your dashboard soon.

Re the IP addresses I’ll add those in a future release.

Adding manual exclusions, sounds like another great feature!

    Cheers,
    Josh
