I am in the process of upgrading a site to latest WordPress and moved the site to a testing area. The site uses Jetpack and for testing I hooked it up at the test install. No problem and it seemed to be showing stats from the main site.

When I went back to the main site and tried to look at JetPack stats, I got an error saying something about a missing token. I decided to update the main site JetPack. Still got the error so I disconnected and reconnected to WordPress again. I also disconnected the JetPack plugin at the test site.

All the old stats are gone and jetpack is starting over again. Is there anyway to connect to the old stats? The WP.com site I am connected to is pfhyper.wordpress.com. The website using JetPack is openarmsmn.org.

    Thanks.

    Jetpack Mechanic 🚀

With Jetpack, your stats information is connected to a unique blog ID. Sometimes, if a site owner was using a development site or a different address when they set up Jetpack, disconnecting may create a new blog ID. When this happens, it may appear that your stats were lost.

That’s what happened on your site; it previously used a different site URL, digitalsavages.com/openarms/.

I have fixed the issue, and you should be able to get your Stats and Subscribers back by going to the Jetpack menu in your dashboard, and disconnecting / reconnecting to WordPress.com.

    Thank you.
