The Jetpack connection looks just fine but we’ve seen this error in the past caused by plugin conflicts. Were you using the Healtcheck plugin to look for those?
I’d recommend temporarily disabling all the plugins (not within the Healthcheck plugin) and see if that helps. If it does, enable each plugin one by one, checking if the issue reappears after each. Let us know what you find out.

You were right of course, there was a plugin conflict. And the conflict seems to with the Healthcheck plugin itself!
So, I have deactivated this and I will wait for an update from both plugins to see if that fixes things.
