Hello! I downloaded the plugin the other day and when checking on the network debugger on my website I see a 403 error on getting analytics. js
    I have attached a screenshot:

I suspect this might be some issue with caching but I have no clue. Do you know what is causing this and how to fix it?

    Thank you,

    George

  • Did it just stop working recently?

I am having a similar issue that started yesterday.

Hey leep, I’ve only had it for 2 days and I think it didn’t work from the beginning :/

Hi guys, a 403 error is a permission error. Check the permissions of the /uploads/caos folder to see if it’s readable by the outside world.

What hosting provider are you using? And are you running some type of WordPress security or firewall plugins?

Hello and thank you for your fast response!

You are absolutely right, I should have checked with Bluehost first but their support is not the best..
I am about to change the permissions myself but should i just tick read for world or do I need to tick execute as well?

Blue host just told me to change permissions to 6 4 4 meaning that i’ll add read access to world but remove execute access from user and group, does that sound right?

I have changed the permissions and cleared cloudflare cache but i still get the error. I will allow some more time but if you have any other suggestions in the meantime let me know!

    Thank you,

    George

    Hi again,

I apologize for not responding. I became a father on July 9th. Times’ve been a bit hectic since then, as you can probably imagine 🙂

What’s the status, George? Did changing the permissions fix it for you?
