Sorry to hear you’re having issues.
Could you please check if you have the Wordfence plugin or the BasicAuth plugin active on your server?
If so, could you please take the following steps:
1) Temporary deactivate Wordfence
2) Open the Feed Manager -> Settings page and press the “Clear feed process” button
3) Try to generate a feed
4) Activate Wordfence again
5) Try to generate a feed again.
Then report back the results of if you have BasicAuth active on your server.

Hello Bastian,
We are experiencing some issues with the newest version of our plugin. The last version of our plugin is quite a big update where a large part of the plugin is rewritten.
Not everyone is experiencing issues with our plugin but there seems to be two type of issues whereas some feed users experiencing missing items in their feed and some users with WordFence installed are experiencing feeds that freeze and stay in processing status.
For now the only solution is to downgrade the plugin to a previous version.
You could use WP-Rollback to easily downgrade the plugin to a previous version until we fix the issue permanently.
