    Hello,

I am trying to connect my woocommerce stellarpay to my stripe account, when I go to connect to my stripe account it did create a new instance specifically for stellarpay, as I have a connection with plutio/freshbooks with the same stripe account. When I go to my stripe account I see this at the top

Complete transition from StellarPay to manage settings.Your account has been removed from StellarPay, but some of their settings may still apply to your account, including those relating to payouts. Complete the transition to manage these settings. Contact StellarPay at [email protected] if you’d like to reconnect instead.”

And on the stellarpay plugin page on my website says it is unable to connect. I’m not too sure what the issue is here, I don’t know how to delete the stripe instance of stellarpay and try to redo the connection but at the moment it isn’t working. Any input or is it possible your team can see something, reset something?

    Hey there,

Thanks for the details — happy to help dig into this!

It sounds like the connection process between StellarPay and Stripe started successfully but didn’t fully complete, and now you’re seeing a message in Stripe that the account has been removed from StellarPay. At the same time, the plugin in your WordPress dashboard says it’s “unable to connect,” which is a bit unusual — I’d love to better understand exactly what you’re seeing on that screen.

To help me get a clearer picture, can you let me know:

    1. When you open StellarPay > Settings > Account Management, do you see any option to manually disconnect from Stripe?
    2. Is the plugin still showing the initial connection wizard, or has it moved to the post-setup settings screen?
    3. If possible, a screenshot of what you’re seeing in the plugin would help a lot.

If you’re stuck in the connection wizard and it simply states “unable to connect” with no way forward, it may be possible to manually restart the connection process by deleting the stellarpay_stripe_account_live row from the wp_options table in your database. This is potentially risky, so I’d strongly recommend making a full site backup before attempting any direct database changes — and only consider this route if there’s no other option to reset the connection within the plugin itself.

Let me know what you see, and we’ll go from there!

    Best,
    Kevin

    Hello kmarusek,

I have been talking with support about this through email, and have yet to find any solution. If there is a solution or a fix to this specific , it will be relayed here in the event someone else is experiencing a similar issue.

I have also been in contact with stripe customer support, I have tried connecting with a new stripe integration account after deleting the one that was bugged, and the result was the same. At this point both stripe and stellarpay support teams are unsure of what the issue is and how to fix it. I have cloudflare, but WAF is not active at the moment while figure out what is going on. Using rules from web agency hero for my account. Utilized the developer tools inspect in chrome and sent the information and while it was helpful to stellarpay support, it did not yield a fix or any insight into what’s going on.

Any updates to follow will be shared here.
