It happens constantly or sometimes? You need to press the “Save all steps” button to make the changes persistent
Although this part of the plugin is marked for a completely rework to make it work with the “Update” button
Consistently.
They still appear qhen I hit save all steps, but do not seem to actually he saving.
I’ll do some additional troubleshooting today.

I see in the release notes “Complete rework of the UI for edit Points Awards and Steps.”
But I do not see any differences. I am on 1.0.5
If you are getting this issue in your live site send to [email protected] the details of an account with administration permission to see what happens
If not, then give more details (browser, plugins active) to let me try to replicate it

I have the same problem – when I create steps using the Gamipress plugin 1.04 version they disappear after I saved them. Tried several times.
The 1.06 plugin version breaks my wordpress installation with this error message when I try a direct install or upgrading from 1.04: Fatal error: Can’t use method return value in write context in ../wp-content/plugins/gamipress/libraries/p2p/load.php on line 102

I actually installed version 1.05 and everything works fine – both it’s not breaking the site and the steps as well as the point awards can be created and don’t disappear after saving anymore 😉

Your error comes because you are using an old PHP version
Test it with 1.0.7 (this version was checked on older php versions)
