The responsiveness of the sticky element (or the lack thereof) is a known bug, and it’s something I’ve been trying to fix for a while now, but no luck.
Having said that, that’s a general problem — I haven’t seen any situations where it does work on the main page, but not anywhere else. Is there a way you can share a link to your site so I can see the issue?

Nah, if the other plugin does exactly what you want, then there’s no need to check mine anymore or why it wasn’t working. I’m curious, but it might not be worth going through all the trouble.
