Stock

We are experiencing an error where the Stock Status is not being updated correctly for products with variations.

The stock status remains as either “In Stock” or “Out of stock” regardless of actual stock level. It does not change when stock is added or completely depleted.

Stock for each individual variation is correct and is changing when ordered or adjusted manually. It is only the stock status for the product which does not change.

There does not seem to be a problem with simple products, only the variable products are affected.

The site has been copied to a staging server, all plugins disabled and theme changed but the problem still persists.
