    Hi team,

We have been experiencing issues with the Stock Availability filter.

It was working fine when the website was in it’s development phase so I’m unsure what might have caused the filter to stop working. We haven’t made any changes to backend settings, and the plugin is up to date.

Any help/suggestions greatly appreciated. Thanks! 🙂

    HI @lisapearsonnz

Thank you for your interest in the Filter Everything plugin.

Was it created correctly by the “Custom field exists”? If yes, the other issue is that the products are not updated. Try to go to this page choose any product change the “stock status” save it and update the product, then try to filter by the stock status filter. If it will show this product that you are editing then the product’s status should be updated.

    Best Regards – Victor

    HI @lisapearsonnz

Update to the previous answer not the “Custom field exists” just “Custom Field”

Hi Victor, thank you for your response.

Yes it is using Custom Field. I had a go at changing the stock status but It is still not filtering. Other 2 filters work fine – it’s just the stock availability I’m having issues with.

Is there anything else I could try? Thanks.

    Hi @lisapearsonnz

Well just for testing purposes you can create a local testing environment where you will install Woo and FE and try to test the stock filter for it’s workability. Usually (in 90%), if everything is working correctly and only the stock is not working there is something wrong with the data in the database for those products.

Also, can conflict with some other plugins. This feature was tested hundreds of times and it is working. It is either the database or some plugin and can be the custom code for product sorting as well.

    Best Regards – Victor

Thank you Victor, it looks like it was a plugin conflict with one of the Elementor extension plugins. Updating it fixed the issue 🙂
