    Hi everyone,

We’re currently experiencing an issue with stock levels on our website. Occasionally, products randomly disappear or show incorrect quantities. We’re using VitePOS, and we sometimes create orders manually through the Orders page.

The strange part is that our physical stock is always accurate, nothing is actually missing. The issue seems to occur more frequently as we add more products to the system.

I’ve had similar problems on other websites in the past, but never managed to identify the root cause. I’m already using an activity log, but it doesn’t show any changes related to the missing stock.

Has anyone encountered something similar, or have suggestions on how to trace what might be causing this?

Thanks in advance for any insights!

    Hi there!

I understand your concern, and I’ll be happy to help you resolve this issue.

To begin, please ensure that the Manage stock option is enabled. You can check this by going to:

WooCommerce → Settings → Products → Inventory, and make sure the “Manage stock” option is enabled.

Once that is confirmed, go to:WooCommerce → Status → Tools, then locate the “Recount terms” button and click it. Check if that resolves the issue.

If you’re still facing the same problem, I noticed you encountered a similar issue on another site. Could you please confirm whether you’re using the VitePOS plugin on those sites as well? And are you still facing the same issue there?

Additionally, it would be helpful if you could provide the following:

    • A clear explanation of which page the issue occurs on.
    • Screenshots showing the problem.
    • Whether the disappearing product issue happens with specific products only or all products.
    • Do the products reappear automatically after some time, or do you have to add them manually?

Finally, please share the System Status Report from WooCommerce → Status.

You can upload the report to https://pastebin.com/ or https://gist.github.com/ and share the link here in your reply.

Once we have more details, we’ll be in a better position to assist you further.

    Hi,

VitePos is only used on that website. Manage stock was already enabled, and it happens from time to time not everyday so it is very hard to track.

After it happens, we have to re-stock it manually.
[WordPress is not updated yet, however it has been going on through previous versions as well]

    Hello doggytech,

    Thank you for your reply.

I reviewed it and noticed that you’re using Vitepos Lite, ATUM Multi-Inventory, and ATUM Inventory Management for WooCommerce. Since all three plugins manage product stock, there’s a strong possibility they may be conflicting with each other.

I recommend reaching out to the support teams for these plugins to check if this is a known issue or if they have any guidance on using them together.

Looking forward to your response. 🙂
