We support sending Instock Email automatically when you manage stock from a third-party inventory by enabling the option “Enable this option if you have updated the stock from a third-party inventory plugin”. (Admin Dashboard-> Instock Notifier-> Settings-> Troubleshoot Section->Enable this option if you have updated the stock from a third-party inventory plugin).
Please enable it and check it out.

DO I need to check it only once ? We update the database stock every few hours.

We’re here to assist you with this one.
Enabling the option once “Enable this option if you have updated the stock from a third-party inventory plugin” itself is sufficient because we do check stock for the product every 5 minutes.
(Admin Dashboard -> Instock Notifier -> Settings -> Troubleshoot Section -> Enable this option if you have updated the stock from a third-party inventory plugin)
