Stop comments plugin

I’m looking for a plugin that will turn off comments after a specified amount of time has past from when the original post was done.

Example if a post was done on August 1 and once September 1 comes (30 days later) and someone goes to the post, comments won’t work anymore.

I hope that makes sense. I looked around and didn’t see anything like this but remember reading something about a plugin like this. I know you can manually turn off comments but I’m hoping for an automated way. Any help would be great.
