Stop database backup upload for every operation?

This plugin needs a setting to stop the database backup upload for every operation. It is very slow, and unnecessary if it was just done. For example, I deleted a couple old tables that belonged to an uninstalled plugin. Nice feature, but it backed up the db and uploaded the backup to my remote storage each time. This is obviously only necessary the first time. There should be a setting to override this behavior. Thanks.
