stop File Check emails

    Hi
    I wanted to stop receiving emails like this from the plugin:
    Subject: [NinjaFirewall] Alert: File Check detection
    Message: NinjaFirewall detected that changes were made to your files.
    …

    So I have already checked the option “No (default)”
    under Monitoring / File check / Options / Enable scheduled scans
    but it continue to send me one message every day.
    What can I do?

    When you disable scheduled scans, no scan should run and hence no email should be sent. Maybe WordPress is still executing the scheduled task?
    Can you install this plugin: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/wp-crontrol/
    Activate it, click on “Tools > Cron Events” and check in the “Hook” column if you see “nfscanevent”? If you see it, delete it.

    Yes, nfscanevent was there!
    I have deleted it now
