    Hi,

I want to be able to upload a file with Username, email and edited surnames in order to change the surnames of existing users (to add a sign after their display name to show my staff that they are new users).

I’ve just tested doing this on my own login and it works fine, but it resets my password when I do it. I can maintain the password by entering a password column and putting my password in it, but I, of course, don’t know all users passwords.

Is it possible to use the plugin to update user info this way whilst maintaining their current passwords?

    Thanks,

    Jon

    Good morning @joncwhall,

As it is said in the “Documentation”:

Passwords A string that contains user passwords. We have different options for this case:
If you don’t create a column for passwords: passwords will be generated automatically
If you create a column for passwords: if cell is empty, password won’t be updated; if cell has a value, it will be used

Please read documentation before using the plugin!!!

    Hi Javier,

Thanks for that and apologies for not reading the documentation properly first.

    Thanks again,

    Jon
