    Being notified about the release notes once after the update is one thing. Being unable to hide that message until the next one is not acceptable.
    There is a cross to close that message, but it appears each time back again.

    Please remove this, it hurts user’s eyes so much. If f you don’t i will replace you very soon since alternatives exist.

    Hi @tdechangy,
    We’re sorry for the inconvenience you are experiencing.

    The dismissal of the notification should actually hide the notification until the next minor release. If it fails to do so, it’s usually because of other plugins or custom code breaking the AJAX call that should do it.

    To overcome this problem, we have a setting in the third tab (“Display”) in the plugin’s options page. You just need to untick the “Show update notice” checkbox and save.

    Thanks for the tip.
    I had also to clear my admin cache plugin (WP admin cache), a pretty useful one.
