Did you change or update your theme?
The plugin uses the same database as WordPress. You shouldn’t have to remove entries from the DB manually. Resaving the settings will write them to the database.
Since I set plugin I didn’t do anything with my theme. Yesterday it worked, today no. Only new thing in meanwhile is new author.
I tried everything. Only settings that accepts is not to show author at all. If I set to show author on posts, it shows always even if I set hide author. I tried to exclude for certain categories using url option nothing changes.
When I reinstalled, I tried few times, there were saved settings under posts, but when I saved nothing happened.
I know that plugins use the same db as WP but I don’t know under what name is your plugin. I would like to hide author for all categories, but to leave it on blog because there are 6 different people that write and it would be nice to show author.
Only idea is to remove it completely and install it again.
The settings are saved in the wp_options table. Look for option_name = show_author_options.
TNX but nothing to do. Every time I reinstall it old settings remains.
If you have some idea I would appreciate.
If not I must find another way to hide two authors and to leave rest.
