Same here, both websites I have this on stopped working with update 1.9
may it help, i had same problem i just disable and enable the plugin and after i worked fine for me
i just found out that WassUp quit working after this update (Jan 10 ’16)!?!
i first followed the FAQ list of suggested fixes all the way up to the complete un-install/re-install, still no love.
then i noticed the WARNING concerning insufficient memory, followed the directions at https://codex.ww.wp.xz.cn/Editing_wp-config.php#Increasing_memory_allocated_to_PHP to increase memory.
And now WassUp is working again.
i like WassUp and want to depend on it, but this seems like an avoidable bug.
