Hi Tobias, fantastic plugin which I’ve been using for over 2 years now with no issues in this department. I have recently had an issue whereby not all my tables are auto importing. I have checked my error logs and memory usage. There doesn’t seem to be a spike in memory nor any errors being flagged.

    · Website: https://akkatips.com
    · TablePress: 1.14
    · TablePress (DB): 43
    · TablePress table scheme: 3
    · Plugin installed: 2019/08/01 17:27:13
    · WordPress: 5.9
    · Multisite: no
    · PHP: 7.4.27
    · mysqli Extension: true
    · mySQL (Server): 5.7.32-35-log
    · mySQL (Client): mysqlnd 7.4.27
    · ZIP support: yes
    · UTF-8 conversion: yes
    · WP Memory Limit: 8000M
    · Server Memory Limit: 8000M
    · WP_DEBUG: false

Here’s the information on the system. Any help would be greatly appreciated as this error only started occurring at the end of last week?

    Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

Unfortunately, the Extension is a bit hard to debug, as everything runs separately and not on the actual page load.

If not all tables are imported, this normally indicates that one of the tables has a problem. Can you please check if the tables can be imported manually?

Your PHP memory limit is already set pretty high, and with PHP 7.4 you are using a fairly modern version, so I would rule out memory issues.

    Hi Tobias,

When I manually import the tables everything seems fine. It looks like there are 2 or 3 tables where the issue stems as removing these from the import list allows the rest to be auto imported.

    Hi,

thanks for checking. Unfortunately, I don’t really know what could be going on here. It could be memory issues, or maybe network timeouts or similar.
Are you using a server cron job already? That’s my recommendation (see e.g. https://www.siteground.com/tutorials/wordpress/real-cron-job/ for an example on how this is configured for a popular hosting company).
Sorry for not really having other ideas here.

    Regards,
    Tobias
