I’m seeing the same trouble on our site.
Removing the plugin folder and replacing it with a new one would not delete the data, it’s saved in the database.
This seems like a Javascript error, so the link is broken and your browser just redirects you to the top of the page. If I find time, I’ll look into it – Maybe, just some syntax in JS has changed or it doesn’t support all browsers yet.
And please don’t get upset if I don’t answer within a few hours or days. 😉
Great! I appreciate your getting back to me! I’m a real novice when it comes to being a SEO. When you say removing “the plug-in folder” is that the same as deactivating it and deleting it in the “plug-in menu” under the dashboard? Or am I way out of my league? :-}
It was working perfectly,then we went down due to a brute force attack. I suspected it got corrupted in the attack.
I did delegates the folder and re-install it. Same problem.
“Delete” dang auto-uncorrect!
