This stopped working on the previous release. Download latest release today and it still does not work. I move the plugins up or down and they seem to stick. But if I visit the site’s home page and return to the Plugins page, the order was not saved.

So when you are on the plugins page you can reorder the plugins and click the button to save the load order but it gets reset when you reload the page?

there is no button to save the load order. i looked everyone, top and bottom, but no such button.

that did it. did you add that in the last two releases? before that I simply changed the order and it stayed that way.

Nope. Been in there since version 2.0. What version are you upgrading from?
