Stopping comments

    Hi, can anyone tell me how I can stop the spam comments on my website?

    I have installed the stop spam comments plug in but that hasn’t stopped it.

    Any ideas>

    Akismet plugin will be a good filter for a beginner but you need to have an account with “WordPress.com”.

    Bullet Proof Security is a good one https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/bulletproof-security/ However, for some this plugin maybe a little complicated to use but quite effective in securing your website as well.

    Additional Info, if Akismet is outdated, sometimes spam gets through. And so far for my 6 years experience with wordpress, I haven’t seen a 100% spam solution. So from time to time, there’s still spam that gets through. You can only minimize it to the most obvious spams.
