1) Is APT able to process posts according to the “At a glance” widget?
2) Is the option “Run APT when posts are: Saved” checked?
3) If you want the plugin to process drafts, please make sure that this post status is included in the option “Allowed post statuses”.
1. Widget shows Status: Unable to process posts. Any ideas on how this could be fixed?
2. It’s checked.
3. I made sure to add “draft” as a status, and saved the post as draft. No luck.
Thanks for the quick response!
Try using the bulk tagging tool (click on the button “Schedule bulk tagging” or “Process posts now”); an error message telling you what’s wrong should be displayed.
“There are no configuration groups which keyword sets can be used for tagging.”
The Default Configuration Group is on default, it shows Default group
A sample of the keywords in my keyword set editor:
“Aaron Brooks”,,”Default group”
“Aaron Waban”,,”Default group”
“Abi Akintola”,,”Default group”
Does this look correct?
Check out the Configuration group editor. Is the default group enabled? Is the KW sets number higher than 0?
This is what mine says: “Default group”,1,25,post_tag
Definitely not zero. I have 988 sets in total though, is the configuration incorrect?
The number of keyword sets belonging to the particular group isn’t displayed if the CSV editor mode is enabled; switch the “Item editor mode” to “Classic” and scroll down to the group editor. The “KW sets” number for the group should be higher than 0. Is it?
You’re right, KW sets is 0. It’s a non-editable value as well.
Stuffed?
Click on the button “Save changes” to update the number; then the plugin should work just fine.
The number should have been updated during the plugin update. I’ll look into it, thanks for letting me know about this.
Works! Thanks for all your help on this.
One last question: I’m using EditFlow on the site along with custom post statuses. Is there any way the autotag will work with saved drafts on custom post statuses?
Answered my own question: adding EditFlow’s custom statuses into the Allowed post statuses field (example “in-progress”) works fine.
Cool, glad to hear that. 🙂
