• I’ve got my little online shop selling a few products, and everything was working fine up until about an hour ago.

I have got a full backup of my FTP directory which has my full WordPress installation in, both of the old working one and the new updated 4.4 one (which is causing me an issue as below). I also took a MySQL Backup before updating WordPress.

I run the Storefront theme / Woocommerce shop (basic free one), and since updating WordPress to the newest one, I’ve noticed variable products aren’t working 100%

Let’s say the product is a t-shirt, available in red/green/blue, to make things easy to understand.

The main ‘product’ image is my main image showing all 3 t-shirts together side by side in the colours, then the 3 variables have their own image, showing the shirt coloured on it’s own respectively (e.g. the red one on it’s own)

Since updating, this main image doesn’t change when selecting a variable in the dropdown box, but when you click the image itself, although the main image is showing, the variable image pops up.

This is pretty annoying as I sell a lot of ‘custom’ stuff where I want people to see the item as they flick through the dropdown box.

Anyone had this in the last few days? WooCommerce’s support ticket thing isn’t letting me submit one as I’m not a proper paid account.

I want to rectify this really without reverting to an older WordPress version, but if worst comes to worse, should I be able to wipe my FTP directory, replace it with my previously known good backed up version, and then restore my known good database? Or is that likely to cause further issues down the line?

Bit annoyed as this is the only thing causing an issue at the moment; everything was finally working perfectly for me!

Mike Jolley: Can you help at all or advise? Thanks!
